So here it is the day of love, whether it’s love of candy, love of chocolate, love of a spouse, a child, or a loved one. We all have something that we love. Maybe we love to read! Why not celebrate Valentines Day into something that you love to do? If you love to read, spend the evening with your favorite drink, favorite food, turn the cell phone off and wrap yourself in your favorite blanket and just read. Perhaps a good movie is on your list of things to do. After all, we are suppose to love ourselves right?
So if you don’t have someone to “be in love with “ today, spoil yourself. If you or your child is feeling down about Valentines Day, go and do something with them. Something crazy, something you have never done before. Go rock climbing, Go on a winter hike, and take the dogs to a dog park. Go collect rocks or shells on a beach and write all the things you love about life on a rock and place them in a jar. What a great way to pick yourself up when you’re down.
There are so many things you can do! So don’t roll over in bed and say “great Valentines Day” get out there and do something for you, do something for your kids!
Remember we are all in this together!
Therefore,
“Happy I love myself and others day” (I know a bit corny but it’s true!)
